I led a team of painters and model makers to deco The Vintage Collection The Ghost prototype, a process that took over two months of painting and fine-tuning due to the ship’s monumental size and elaborate paint application. It took 3 painters over a week just to apply the multiple layers of weathering wash, battle damage and chipping to the hull of the ship! The Ghost model is so large that it even comes with a small starfighter, The Phantom II, nestled into the back of the freighter.

The hand-painted Ghost and crew flew to San Diego Comic Con in 2023 for the first in-person reveal of a Star Wars HasLab, letting fans get an up-close look at the full-color models during the campaign. The painted models were photographed for licensor approval, Hasbro Pulse marketing assets and images on packaging.
