I was responsible for hand-painting fan-favorite TVC vehicles and action playsets to support licensor approval, paintmasters to guide manufacturing, and photography for packaging and marketing needs.
Images on packaging feature the painted prototype brought to life, recreating epic scenes inspired by the films and television shows.
The Mandalorian AT-ST Raider
Painting the modified AT-ST from The Mandalorian was particularly exciting because the new live-action show hadn’t aired yet. It was thrilling to bring this unique walker to life without knowing its role in the story. The vehicle featured heavy weathering, forest dirt marks, and hand- painted “war paint” on its face, legs and shoulders. The Klatooinian guard was detailed with washes and dry brushing to enhance his alien wrinkles and tattered clothing, adding to the gritty realism of this new world.

Jabba’s Palace Playset
This playset featured detailed wall textures that made applying deco an exciting challenge. I took great care to ensure the wash effect enhanced the deep recesses, cracks, and overall grunginess of Jabba’s infamous lair. The walls also featured unique Tauntaun and Jerba head trophies, adding to the authenticity of the scene.
